Many of us want Christianity on our own terms. We want to stay alive - we want the benefits of the Cross, but not the requirements of it. But whereas the Gospel of Jesus Christ blesses us with all the pleasures of Heaven, it asks for something in return - our lives.

I clicked on this video from your blog today...the day after one of our own missionaries here was shot and killed in Africa. The words...the gospel brings life to the receiver but death to the giver...is so true. May we be willing to die so that others can live. May the saving grace of Christ in others lives be more important that the life we live ourselves.
